CBS Reveals Colter’s Fate After Deadly Cliffhanger In Tracker Season 3, Episode 10 Trailer

Reuniting with Keaton, the Tracker season 3, episode 9, “Good Trouble” saw the survivalist investigating the mysterious disappearance of his friend’s old partner. The case went on to be more complicated than a typical missing person dilemma, as soon, both found themselves being hunted. At the end of the hour, Colter and Keaton’s car fell down a mini-cliff, leaving their fates uncertain.

Now, CBS has officially released the first trailer for Tracker season 3, episode 10, as shared by Justin Hartley on his Instagram. The clip features Colter back in action, which means that he will eventually come out of the accident without permanent damage. The video also confirms the return of Sofia Pernas’ Billie. Watch the promo below:

While there was no doubt that Colter would survive the crash, not only because he is the lead star of the series, but also because CBS had already ordered Tracker season 4, the show executed the cliffhanger so effectively that it felt like his life was truly in danger. From the looks of it, Billie will come to the rescue of the survivalist, as proven by her tending to his wounds. How Reenie and Randy fit into Colter’s situation is uncertain at this point, however.

A bigger question coming into Tracker season 3, episode 10 is Keaton’s whereabouts. Colter’s trusted ally is nowhere to be seen in the promo clip, which justifies concerns about his safety. It’s worth noting that before their car crashed, he was already nursing a serious injury. In fact, Colter was rushing to get him to the hospital when they were ambushed and derailed. Killing him at this point will be tragic, especially considering how good of an ally he has been to Tracker‘s main hero.

Colter Shaw in Tracker

CBS opened Tracker season 3 by wiping out Colter’s original team. Just a year after Teddi’s exit due to a personal matter, the procedural’s support system also lost both Bobby and Velma. Reenie remains a part of Colter’s inner circle, and arguably even has a bigger role now. Meanwhile, Bobby was essentially replaced by his cousin, Randy. Thus far, the duo has been effective in their job. That said, Keaton is a different kind of ally, since he’s on the ground with Colter for most of their adventures. It will be great to have him stick around.
