Truth and Consequences
Unable to move or speak, Drew (Cameron Mathison) has been desperately trying to blink out an SOS signal to anyone who might be able to help him. But unfortunately, people either don’t understand what he’s doing or don’t care. Now that she knows all about Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) shooting Drew and drugging him into this locked-in state, Nina (Cynthia Watros) falls into the latter category. “Blink all you want, Drew,” she coldly informs him. “Nobody’s gonna save you.”
However, Drew’s luck may have finally changed while Liz (Rebecca Herbst) is paying him a visit. Noticing his rapid eye movements, something clicks for the nurse. “Drew,” she wonders, “are you asking for help?” Can he possibly get Liz to understand the danger he is in?
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) originally attributed Rocco’s (Finn Carr) recent erratic behavior to general teen angst, but he can tell that Lulu (Alexa Havins) is hiding something big. “What aren’t you telling me?” he inquires. Knowing that Dante is now the acting police commissioner, can Lulu possibly trust him with the secret that Rocco was the one who shot Cullum (Andrew Hawkes)?
We then hear Rocco’s voice announce, “Jason didn’t shoot Agent Cullum,” as we see the teen entering a hospital room with a pillow as part of his community service. But he stops short when he sees that it’s WSB director Cullum lying in the bed. Who could Rocco be revealing the truth to? Danny? Dante? Someone else?
