The wait for Fire Country to return is almost over. Fire Country creator and star Max Thieriot (Bode) is getting fans ready with a little tease about his alter ego’s love life.
In an interview with TV Insider, Thieriot addressed Bode’s love life. The chat came hot on the heels of Thieriot’s former SEAL Team love interest, Alona Tal, debuting on Fire Country as Chloe.
Bode and Chloe went to high school together, and if that wasn’t enough, they had crushes on each other back then. Thieriot opened up about the possibility of a romance between Chloe and Bode.
“We’re hinting that it might go further than that because they had a preexisting crush from when she used to tutor him in math, which he was terrible at, but I don’t know if it’s too soon. But we’re certainly going to let it develop and build into something rather than totally rush it, which I think is fun,” the actor revealed.![Identify] Unknown Watch from Seal Team Tv show. : r/Watches](https://preview.redd.it/identify-unknown-watch-from-seal-team-tv-show-v0-mqpb8mj5p6dd1.jpg?width=554&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b935f0e00ec0973bbad7da2531c09903471dc3e2)
Thieriot admitted that there are pros and cons to him and Tal being paired as a couple again so soon after SEAL Team. It’s one of many reasons why Fire Country is doing a very slow burn with the duo.
Another reason is that Bode’s personal life has been messy since his return to Edgewater. Gabriela (Stephanie Arcila) caught his eye first, but their relationship was complicated from the get-go, with him being in the fire camp.

No matter how hard they tried, Gabriela and Bode couldn’t make it work, and she ended up leaving town for a job.
Then there was Audrey (Leven Rambin), who seemed to be a better fit for Bode. However, as he spiraled from the death of his father, Vince (Billy Burke), Audrey opted to give him space, and they broke up.
A hot second later, Bode ran into Chloe, and sparks flew, especially as Bode grew closer to her troubled teenage son, Tyler (Conor Sherry). Thieriot revealed to TV Insider that the back half of Fire Country will see Bode laser-focused on keeping Tyler from making the same mistakes he did.
Fire Country airs Fridays at 9/8c on CBS.
