After a season full of hilarious guest stars, a break-up that left us all in shambles, and even some nostalgic Reba callbacks, Happy’s Place Season 2 is wrapping up with a two-episode finale night.
This season, Bobbie (Reba McEntire) and Emmett (Rex Linn) were in relationship bliss as they finally revealed their feelings for each other and sealed the deal with a romantic kiss. Heartbreak soon followed, however, after Bobbie learned Emmett’s secret that he’d known about her half-sister Isabella (Belissa Escobedo) for years, leading her to end things.
Indeed, just as Linn teased in an interview with NBC Insider, Bobbie and Emmett’s relationship has been full of “fireworks.” And while Emmett has been casually dating Monica the health inspector, played by SNL icon Cheri Oteri, Happy’s Place fans can’t wait to see what will or won’t happen with the IRL engaged lovebirds.
Jane Lynch also made her debut as Val, the mysterious mother of Gabby (Melissa Peterman), while JoAnna Garcia Swisher made a guest appearance in a role that had her impersonating her former TV mom. Takoda (Tokala Black Elk) then revealed he’s in a heavy metal band outside of his Happy’s Place shifts, and Steve (Pablo Castelblanco) has been making us giggle as he’s shown his macho side in the pub.

When does the Happy’s Place Season 2 finale air?
The final two episodes of Happy’s Place Season 2 will air on Friday, April 24, starting at 8/7c on NBC.
First up? Happy’s Place Season 2, Episode 17 (“Everyone’s a Critic”). In this episode, Bobbie and Isabella team up to give the tavern staff performance reviews. But when Isabella tries a “compliment sandwich” approach, “nobody is pleased with the outcome,” the logline teases.
Right after, Happy’s Place Season 2, Episode 18 (“Couples Counseling”) airs at 8:30/7:30c, which is sure to leave us on pins and needles. “After Bobbie starts serving patrons at the speakeasy, Isabella accuses her of stealing customers, causing the sisters to attend couples counseling,” the logline reads, adding that “Emmett tries his best to gently break up with Monica.”
