“High Potential” has found its new showrunners going into the hit ABC series’ third season.

Variety has learned that Nora and Lilla Zuckerman are taking the helm of the procedural dramedy as co-showrunners and executive producers following the exit of Todd Harthan, who departed the show at the end of Season 2. The Zuckermans are currently under an overall deal at 20th Television, which produces “High Potential.”

“We are so grateful to be working with Craig, Karey, Simran and our partners at 20th and ABC on this exciting new chapter of ‘High Potential,’” the Zuckermans said. “The fact we get to collaborate with Drew, Sarah and Andrea at Goddard Textiles and the incomparable Kaitlin Olson is a dream come true. We’re looking forward to climbing into the brilliant, bustling mind of Morgan Gillory and crafting intricate mysteries worthy of her genius.”

The Zuckermans were previously showrunners on the hit Peacock series “Poker Face.” They are also known for their work writing shows like “Suits,” “Agents of SHIELD,” “Prodigal Son,” and “Fringe.” They are currently working on the script for “Scream 8” for Project X and Spyglass. Recently, they were attached to write, executive produce, and showrun Hulu’s reboot of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” which ultimately did not move forward.

“High Potential,” which is based on the French series “Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI),” has proven to be a solid hit for ABC. According to Nielsen data, the Season 2 finale reached over 12 million viewers in its first seven days of availability. It continues to be the top broadcast series in adults 18-49 on streaming.

Kaitlin Olson leads the series as Morgan, a highly-intelligent cleaning woman who ends up working as a consultant for the police. The cast also includes Daniel Sunjata, Javicia Leslie, Deniz Akdeniz, Amirah J, Matthew Lamb, Steve Howey, and Judy Reyes.

Drew Goddard created the series and executive produces along with Sarah Esberg of Goddard Textiles. Olson is an executive producer in addition to starring. Andrea Massaro of Goddard Textiles serves as co-executive producer. 20th TV is the studio.
