The Good Doctor’s Claire Browne star already lands three films ahead of season 7 finale

The Good Doctor season seven is nearing its end and its Claire Browne star has ensured her calendar is well and truly busy after its over.
Dr Claire Browne (played by Antonia Thomas) was Dr Shaun Murphy’s (Freddie Highmore) confidante from the very beginning until she made her exit in season four.

She decided to stay behind in Guatemala following a trip to help those in need but has been back to St Bonaventure Hospital on a couple of occasions.

Claire’s most recent visit was in season seven’s penultimate episode Unconditional and will be back for the last ever episode which airs on Tuesday, May 21 on ABC.
Even though The Good Doctor is just on the brink of concluding, actress Antonia Thomas has three major films in the works following its end.
The first of the three movies that the 37-year-old has been working on is the horror movie Bagman which is now in post-production.

Thomas will be portraying a character called Karina and will be starring opposite Me Before You and Peaky Blinders actor Sam Claflin.

Here’s what to expect, going by its synopsis: “When a sinister threat from his childhood returns to haunt him, a father desperately struggles against his deepest inner fear.

“Only this time, the fight isn’t for himself, it’s for his family.”

The second of the two, now in production, is a comedy-horror which has a few recognisable faces.
Thomas will be in The Scurry with Yellowjackets star Ella Purnell, House of the Dragon’s Rhys Ifans and I May Destroy You and The Lazarus Project’s Paapa Essiedu.

The Scurry is going to see havoc break out as a “horde of deranged squirrels seek revenge on the staff and visitors” at an eco-cafe.

The third of Thomas’ upcoming films has a far more serious tone, entitled Past Life, which is a thriller in pre-production.

Once again, there are some big names she will be sharing the screen with, such as Four Weddings and a Funeral and The Mummy star John Hannah.
Other cast members include comedian-turned-actor Eddie Izzard who has also been in The Lost Symbol, Stay Close and Culprits.
