The actor has played Marty Deeks since the first season of NCIS: Los Angeles and has become a strong fan favourite. After the remaining episodes of the CBS series were put on hold by the coronavirus pandemic, Olsen has used the time away from set as an excuse to get in killer shape. Fans went wild for his wife Sarah’s latest Instagram post.

Liaison Officer Marty Deeks (played by Eric Christian Olsen) may be one of the most sensitive members of the LA team.
However, he is also known for his athletic ability and never shies away from a fight.
In fact, Deeks was first introduced as an undercover mixed martial artist in the episode Hand-to-Hand
Although he only appeared in two episodes of the first season, he quickly became a fan favourite and joined the regular cast from the second season onwards.
In addition to his combat skills and quick-thinking, viewers have loved watching his on-screen romance with Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) develop throughout the show.
Meanwhile, fans have become just as fond of Olsen’s relationship with his real wife, actress Sarah Wright.
Shortly after their marriage in 2012, the Hollywood couple appeared on an episode of House Hunters looking for the perfect vacation home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
During the ongoing lockdown, the pair have kept fans enchanted with some beautiful pictures of their kids and new dog, Aspen.
However, Sarah Wright’s new post took things up a notch by posting a shirtless picture of husband Eric looking particularly healthy.
She captioned the post: “You know what’s really great? When your husband gets into the best shape of his life when you’re 8 months pregnant.”
Currently pregnant with the couple’s third child, Sarah added: “I’ll be over here with my Fritos and milkshakes.”
Eric Christian Olsen is no stranger to shirtless snaps as he was previously known as the perpetually half-naked hacky sack player Vaughan in NBC sitcom Community.
Despite never demonstrating camera shyness during his on-screen career, this is definitely the first time Olsen has looked this athletic.
One fan took to the comments and said: “You’re working harder growing that little one! I think it’s impressive that he did this during quarantine! Most people have had the opposite effect.”
While another follower summed it up and joked: “Oh My Gosh, how dare he!”
