‘Chicago Fire’ Season 13 Cast Updates: Everything We Know, Including 4 Stars That Won’t Be Back

Eamonn Walker as Deputy District Chief Wallace Boden – Exiting

Eamonn Walker has been with the series from the beginning, but it has been confirmed that he’s exiting.

Rome Flynn – Exited During Season 12

Rome Flynn‘s Gibson shockingly exited the NBC hit halfway through season 12, just months after joining the cast.

“Just like all the fans, I was sad to see Gibson leave. He was a character I very much enjoyed playing,” the star told Variety in a statement. “I had a wonderful experience during my time on Chicago Fire and have great respect for the cast and crew and hope to team up with Dick Wolf again when the time is right.”
Kara Killmer as Paramedic in Charge Sylvie Brett, Ambulance 61 – Exited During Season 12!

Kara Killmer officially exited Chicago Fire earlier this year.

“This is a natural conclusion for the arc of Sylvie’s character,” Kara told the outlet. I sort of love that she started her journey [when] she was dumped at the altar by her high school boyfriend and runs off to Chicago to start over again, and I love that she ends up across the aisle from the love of her life and, obviously, the most eligible bachelor in all of Chicago and Portland. It’s just so satisfying to get to see her have everything that she always wanted and to see the kind of woman she’s become, the sort of paramedic she’s become. She’s really stepped into her own, and so, this is a natural conclusion for her.”

The star also addressed whether she’d be open to returning to her Chicago Fire role in the future.

“I hope so! If the door’s open for them, the door’s open for me! I would be more than happy to pop in anytime,” she said.
