For months, Ghosts fans have been trying to figure out which of the show’s beloved ghosts could be in danger of leaving the show. As fans will recall, the season 2 finale ended with Sam seeing a white beam emerging from the manor indicating that one of the ghosts had been sucked off to the afterlife.

CBS has only been giving us breadcrumbs with no major hints at who might be leaving the show… that was until the network debuted a new spot during Super Bowl LVIII!

Flower could be leaving Ghosts
In a spot that aired during Super Bowl LVIII, the ghosts of CBS’s hit comedy came together to tease the upcoming third season. The promo didn’t reveal any new footage, but it might have just revealed the identity of which ghost was sucked off in the finale.

The teaser sees Isaac, Alberta, Pete, Trevor, Hetty, Thorfin, and Sas all come together for a fun bit about the show’s return and how the ghosts didn’t technically ever leave. Noticeably MIA from the promo was Flower which immediately sent up some red flags. After all, why exclude only one character unless the character is leaving the show?

What’s interesting is that there is a promo photo of Flower and she is featured on the poster for the new season, but it’s her absence in the promo that seems like a reason to be concerned. This is likely the last new promo we’ll be getting before the season 3 premiere on Feb. 15, so the fact that Flower is not featured alongside the rest of the ghosts is a bit concerning.

Of course, this could be a misdirect used to throw fans off the scent of which ghost is actually leaving the show. It wouldn’t be the first time a show tried to throw fans off with a misdirect and we can’t imagine CBS would give away the season’s big twist with a little promo, but honestly, anything could happen. The good news is that we’ll know for certain which ghost will be leaving the show when Ghosts season 3 premieres this Thursday!
