Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) went for the jugular on the Season 5 premiere of Chicago Fire, literally.
Severide slashed the neck of Stella Kidd’s (Miranda Rae Mayo) drug-addicted ex, Grant (Guy Burnet) at the end of last week’s episode, in order to protect himself and Stella from an impending attack — but would a jury see it that way?
In this exclusive sneak peek from Tuesday’s episode, things are going downhill fast for Grant as he appears to be bleeding out inside an ambulance. As some of their colleagues rush out of Molly’s to see what all the fuss is about, Stella opts to ride with Grant to the hospital, while Severide stays behind to talk to the cops (uh oh).
From an outsider’s perspective, Severide’s side of the story sounds a little thin. Is it possible he’ll face charges if Grant doesn’t make it out alive? Check out the clip to see Severide’s defense.
