Jason George set to return as series regular on Grey’s Anatomy following Station 19 ending

An online portal has confirmed that Jason George, known for his role as the doctor-turned-firefighter, is set to return to the popular ABC medical drama as a series regular for the upcoming 21st season following the conclusion of Station 19. Fans were introduced to Ben as a first surgical resident at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital in season 6

He later tied the knot with Miranda Bailey (played by Chandra Wilson) and appeared as a guest on Grey’s Anatomy while also starring in Station 19 for seven seasons. Deadline was the first to break the news of George’s return to the show. In the Station 19 finale, Ben expressed his readiness to return to the operating room and complete his surgical residency after contemplating his future as a firefighter throughout the season.Watch Station 19 | Prime Video

The 52-year-old George also hinted at the possibility of a comeback to Grey’s Anatomy last month. “I believe there’s still more to the Ben-Bailey, or Benley, story,” he shared with The Hollywood Reporter. “I think that’s a possibility. There might be discussions.” The announcement of George’s return follows ABC’s renewal of Grey’s Anatomy for season 21, solidifying its status as the longest-running primetime medical drama and the network’s lengthiest primetime scripted series. “Get ready for season 21! #GreysAnatomy is returning for another season on ABC!” posted the show’s official Instagram account.Where to watch 'Station 19' Season 5?
