Last night’s episode of Roseanne found the Conners at odds, as Roseanne and Darlene butted heads over parenting styles. While Darlene is pretty lenient with her daughter Harris, Roseanne is the tough parent we’ve always known her to be (remember when she took Becky’s door off the hinges in season 2?).
Those differences came to the forefront during a family argument, where Harris says she thinks she’s better than her “hillbilly” relatives and Roseanne calls Harris an “entitled little b–ch” and shoves her head under the kitchen faucet.
And people definitely had some opinions about the scene. Some thought it went too far, and seemed out of character for Roseanne:
The rest of the episode found Roseanne struggling to accept the perils of aging as Dan tries to get her to use a motorized chair to go up and down the stairs.
It was quite an episode!
