Move over, Jamko: There’s a new Blue Bloods pair who everyone’s talking about! The CBS drama recently teased that two more NYPD partners might be falling for each other: None other than Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez)!
The official Blue Bloods account uploaded an adorable photo of the duo dancing together. Between the hand-holding and Danny’s big, bright smile, the sweet post had fans buzzing about if the co-workers were going to become romantically involved.
One person suggested a future storyline. “These two are great together, the writers should explore a relationship,” they said. Someone else gushed about the potential pair, “Love it! Danny and Maria would make such great partners off the job as well! They look adorable together!” Another person echoed that sentiment adding, “Wondering when they will get together, I can’t wait!!”
But the comments didn’t stop there. On another post of a grinning Baez, there were even more notes about the (possible) future love birds. One person offered up their hypothesis: “I predict that Danny and Baez will end up together.” Someone else revealed, “I have been waiting for her and Danny to get together.” Another person boldly summed up what many fans have been writing: “Her and Danny need to hook up! Just sayin.’
There’s no word (yet!) on whether the twosome will explore a romantic relationship, but after the tragic death of Linda Reagan (Amy Carlson), Danny definitely deserves happiness—and hopefully love!—in his life.
