Netflix’s Bridgerton has been a consistent success since it was first released back in December 2020. Marketed as a historical-romance series delving into the personal lives of the members of the London Regency era’s Bridgerton family, most notably the likes of Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory, and Hyacinth.
The series has, to date, resulted in three seasons, with its success meaning that it was renewed for a fourth iteration all the way back in April 2021. That is set to arrive in 2026, with the series boasting the official synopsis:
“The eight close-knit siblings of the Bridgerton family look for love and happiness in London high society.”
While there are not a lot of details about Season 4 released thus far, the creators recently announced a new cast member for the upcoming narration. Yerin Ha is set to be the new face in Bridgerton Season 4 and is going to take over the role of Sophie Beckett. Beckett is going to be the love interest of none other than Benedict Bridgerton, one of the Bridgerton siblings from the show.

The show in itself is based on the novel series of the same name by Julia Quinn. The series has also seen the release of a spinoff in the form of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, and fans are now looking forward to the release of Season 4.
Season 4 is set to take major inspiration from the third book of the original series, titled An Offer From a Gentleman, which heavily revolves around Sophie Beckett and her romantic arc with Benedict Bridgerton. Fans will also be excited to know that the upcoming narrative will feature Benedict heavily, a figure who has not been delved into in the three seasons thus far. Benedict will meet Sophie Beckett, described as the enchanting Lady in Silver, at his mother’s masquerade ball.
Sophie Beckett, or the lady in silver, will be the illegitimate daughter of an earl and one of his maids. She was also raised in her father’s household without ever being acknowledged as her daughter. Regardless, Benedict’s character ends up falling in love with her, a development which is set to be seen in the upcoming Bridgerton Season 4.

Sophie Beckett’s role is now confirmed to be taken up by Yerin Ha. The actress has previously been seen in multiple major projects. This includes the Paramount+ series based on the Halo video games, alongside series such as Reef Break, Troppo, and Bad Behavior.
Furthermore, she is also set to be seen in the upcoming Dune: Prophecy, which will see her star alongside major actors such as Zendaya and Timothee Chalamet. Regardless, she is now set to take on a major role in the Netflix series as well.
While her romantic arc alongside Benedict Bridgerton is confirmed, not a lot of other details about the character have been released thus far. That can be expected to change in the coming time, as readers of the book series will already be well aware of the importance she takes up in the upcoming narrative.
Regardless, the series itself has achieved cult status and has a huge worldwide fan base. The three seasons thus far has resulted in a cumulative rating of 7.4 on IMDB. No release date has yet been announced for Season 4, except for the addition in the cast, as mentioned above.
