Chicago Fire will have a full 22-episode season, TVLine reported in July. Season 12 was shortened to just 13 episodes due to delays caused by the now-resolved writers’ and actors’ strikes.

Most of the Season 12 cast of Chicago Fire is expected to return for the next season, including Taylor Kinney (Kelly Severide), Miranda Rae Mayo (Stella Kidd), David Eigenberg (Christopher Herrmann), Christian Stolte (Randall “Mouch” McHolland), Joe Minoso (Joe Cruz), and others.
Jocelyn Hudon, who joined last season as Paramedic Lyla Novak, was promoted to series regular, Deadline reported in June. Novak officially replaced Killmer’s Sylvie Brett, who exited the procedural last season.
