Swifties launch sentimental project to support Taylor Swift after ‘Eras Tour’ cancellations

In the wake of Taylor Swift’s three “Eras Tour” shows getting canceled in Vienna, Austria, due to fears of terror attacks, fans have banded together to show the singer love and support.
Most Swifties are aware the song “Long Live” holds a special place in Swift’s heart as she has dedicated it to the fans throughout the years. The singer briefly added the song to “The Eras Tour” set list after releasing “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” in July 2023. But it was cut from the show to make room for “The Tortured Poets Department” era.
Knowing what this song means to the “I Hate It Here” singer, and how she was once terrified of touring following the Manchester Arena bombing in May 2017 after an Ariana Grande concert and the mass shooting at a country music festival in Las Vegas in October 2017, a few Swifties developed a plan.
In a video posted on TikTok by serakaraa, the Swiftie explains an idea a fellow fan came up with.
“She had an idea that we could all start streaming ‘Long Live (Taylor’s Version)’ because the song is obviously for the fans, for us,” serakaraa says in the video. “If we stream it a lot in these next days, we can just maybe show her our support and how much we love her and how sad this is for all of us. And I just hope you all just stay safe.”
Swift has yet to publicly comment on the cancellation of three “Eras Tour” shows in Vienna.
