Monday saw Jane Tennant (played by Jane Tennant) and co take down a lethal fentanyl ring on NCIS Hawaii in the sixth episode of season two, titled Changing Tides. CBS viewers got their usual blend of action-packed fight sequences courtesy of Jesse (Noah Mills) as well as a peek at the latest developments of the team’s personal lives. However, with fans loving the stories of the likes of Kate Whistler (Tori Anderson) and Lucy Tara (Yasmine Al-Bustami), they’re in for some disappointing news.
The next episode of NCIS Hawaii, titled Vanishing Act, won’t air in the drama’s usual Monday evening slot on October 31.
And those hoping for a new episode the following Monday on November 7 are also set for disappointment.
Instead, CBS is set to air repeats of the NCIS spin-off in the Monday night slots, with season one’s Pirates airing on October 31 and season one’s Nurture airing on November 7.
However, CBS has confirmed when the next episode of NCIS Hawaii will finally grace screens in the USA.
Season two, episode seven will instead premiere on Monday, November 14 in its usual slot.
In order to get excitement levels rising ahead of the wait, however, CBS has released a synopsis and first-look promo pictures.
The plot reads: “When the mother of a young boy goes missing, the NCIS team sets out to find her and learns they aren’t the only ones searching for her.”
And in the promo snaps, it looks like fans will see how Lucy and Tara’s romance is well and truly going from strength to strength.
The duo appear to be enjoying a picnic date on the beach, a scene which will undoubtedly melt the hearts of fans everywhere.
However, this hasn’t stopped fans from expressing their upset at the fact no NCIS Hawaii episodes lie ahead for another three weeks.
The show’s official Twitter account tweeted after episode six: “Another episode in the books, #NCISHawaii fam! Questions, comments, concerns?”
User @gini_us was just one person to fume about the delay, replying: “Questions: why no new episode until november 14? comments: why no new episode until november 14? concerns: why no new episode until november 14?” followed by a series of crying emojis.
NCIS Hawaii’s account replied: “Because good things are worth the wait!” followed by a love heart emoji.
However, Nelly Yeung was one of several fans who couldn’t mask their disappointment despite the explanation
They replied: “You are right, some things are worth the wait. I dont know if my brain would be patient enough. Fortunately we have kacy fanfics to distract me for 3 weeks.”
While @KacyShip4Life added: “I know it is but still… after those promo pictures,” again followed by crying emojis.
