After Allison has a near-death experience, she gains the ability to speak to the mansion’s many mismatched ghostly inhabitants. The BBC show proved such a hit that it spawned an American remake of the same name in 2021. The ghosts of CBS’s Ghosts are different, but the premise is the same.
