*Another* One? Fire Country Season 3 Subtly Announced the Lead of a Possible Second Spinoff

Fire Country is adding a big Supernatural face to its cast. The show, which is set to return for Season 3 in the fall, has just added its biggest guest star yet – and if all goes well, that guest start might spawn even another spinoff. But who is coming to Fire Country Season 3?

Who Are the Fire Country Season 3 Guest Stars?
Though there have been some names already announced for Fire Country Season 3, it’s fair to say that this is the biggest one yet. Jared Padalecki, better known for 15 seasons of Supernatural and four of Walker will be paying a visit to Edgewater.

He will play a character by the name of Camden, who Deadline describes as a “SoCal firefighter and maverick with a surfer swagger who is a force to be reckoned with and immediately recognizes Bode’s raw talent.”

For now, Padalecki has only signed to recur, but Deadline reports the character could land his own spinoff. Fire Country has already spawned one spinoff, Sheriff Country, led by Morena Baccarin. That spinoff, “stars as straight-shooting sheriff Mickey Fox, the stepsister of Cal Fire’s division chief Sharon Leone (Fire Country‘s Diane Farr), who investigates criminal activity as she patrols the streets of small-town Edgewater while contending with her ex-con father and a mysterious incident involving her wayward daughter.”

Now, Padalecki could potentially star in the second Fire Country spinoff. The spinoff has yet to be confirmed, but with a name like Padalecki set to possibly star in it, odds are already in the show’s favor.

Padalecki isn’t the only new cast member joining the cast for Season 3. Leven Rambin was also announced in the recurring role of Audrey, a former fire camp inmate. The firefighter drama ended Season 2 with Bode choosing not to interrupt Gabriela’s wedding, Sharon telling Luke that she’s taking her job back, Eve declining a job offer in Sacramento, and Manny getting arrested for aggravated battery and reckless endangerment.

Fire Country is CBS’ drama series centered on Bode Donovan, a young convict with a troubled past, who volunteers for the California Conservation Camp Program, in which inmates assist with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, otherwise known as Cal Fire. Bode is assigned to his hometown of Edgewater, where he must work alongside other inmates to fight the wildfires that plague the region, all while being unable to avoid his family, former friends, and the life he thought he’d left behind.

The show stars Max Thieriot (Bode Donovan); Kevin Alejandro (Manny Perez); Jordan Calloway (Jake Crawford); Stephanie Arcila (Gabriela Perez); Jules Latimer (Eve Edwards); Diane Farr (Sharon Leone); and Billy Burke (Vince Leone).
