Heidi Klum has addressed swirling rumors that Simon Cowell secretly tied the knot with his fiancée, Lauren Silverman. The speculation intensified after Cowell’s former partner, singer Sinitta, hinted at their potential marriage in a recent interview.
When asked about a wedding date, Sinitta joked, “Oh, are they not married yet? I’m sure they are married. I call her Mrs. Cowell anyway.” However, she later clarified her comments, stating she was merely deflecting the question with humor and had no actual knowledge of a secret marriage.
Despite Sinitta’s attempt to clarify, the rumors gained traction, prompting Klum to comment. As a judge on America’s Got Talent alongside Cowell, she noted she hadn’t received any wedding invitation and expressed confidence that Silverman would have informed her if they had wed. Klum added, “I feel like Lauren would’ve told us.”
Klum expressed her hopes for a future wedding, saying, “Maybe tomorrow or next week, I will know more. Stay tuned.”
Following the initial comments, Sinitta took to Instagram to label the speculation as “fake news,” emphasizing her enjoyment of playful conversation but urging others not to take her remarks too seriously.
Cowell and Silverman, who welcomed their son Eric in 2014, have been engaged since December 2021. While they’ve discussed wedding planning in the past, no official date has been set yet.
