Exciting News: Thor’s Son Joins Ghosts Season 4, Plus the Fransbys Make Their Debut!

When Ghosts Season 4 debuts on the 2024 TV schedule, fans can expect a thrilling mix of beloved characters, hilarious reveals, and plenty of ghostly antics. So far, we’ve learned that we might finally uncover how Sas met his demise, Jay may get a glimpse of the ghosts, and the identity of Isaac’s kidnapper, Patience, has been revealed. Adding to the excitement, it’s been confirmed that the Farnsbys and Thor’s son, Bjorn, will be back as Sam and Jay’s neighbors.

Returning Favorites: The Farnsbys and Bjorn

Although we don’t have a direct quote, showrunners Joe Port and Joe Wiseman shared with TV Line that fans can look forward to seeing Sam and Jay’s quirky neighbors, the Farnsbys, along with Bjorn, the ghostly son of Thor. This news adds a layer of anticipation for the upcoming season!

While Ghosts is filled with a variety of entertaining side characters, the Farnsbys, played by Kathryn Greenwood (Margaret) and Mark Linn-Baker (Henry), have always stood out. They’ve appeared in three episodes so far but were notably absent in Season 3—likely due to the shortened season resulting from the writers’ and actors’ strikes. Their ongoing rivalry with Sam and Jay promises to bring plenty of delightful tension back to the screen.

Bjorn, portrayed by Christian Jadah, made his debut in Season 2, Episode 6, where we learned he is Thor’s son. Their connection, forged through a heartfelt exchange at an upstairs window, left viewers wanting more. Although he returned in another episode, it’s been a while since we’ve seen him, making his comeback even more exciting.

While they may not be central characters, the Farnsbys and Bjorn add a delightful dynamic to the show. I can’t wait to see them return, especially with the potential for expanded storylines that involve their unique quirks.

My Big Hope for Season 4

As we look forward to the new season, there are multiple avenues for the ghostly world to expand. With Pete’s new ghostly power allowing him to leave the property and the introduction of Patience, the Puritan ghost who kidnapped Isaac, Season 4 promises to explore new dimensions around the manor. I’m hopeful that the return of the Farnsbys and Bjorn will further enrich the narrative, leading to some unforgettable moments!
