Severide makes up his mind by the end of Chicago Fire season 13, episode 2 — he can no longer work alongside Damon. It hasn’t been very long since he learned that they were related. Damon even revealed that Benny was abusive towards him during his childhood. As a result, Damon’s recklessness and need to impress his brother is getting him into some trouble at Firehouse 51.
