What To Expect In The Final Episodes Of Young Sheldon

Young Sheldon Still Has Some Stories Left To Tell
Despite the end of filming, Young Sheldon still has seven episodes left in its run. On the heels of Mandy and Georgie’s wedding episode, the family will deal with the fallout from Meemaw’s arrest and the unexpected bathroom issue at home. Beyond that, details are still scant, but the creators have previously confirmed that Tam will make his return in season 7, which is something that has yet to happen. Meanwhile, Young Sheldon season 7’s biggest missing character, Dr. Sturgis, will also make an appearance, as confirmed by a BTS image.
Arguably, the biggest remaining plot in Young Sheldon is the confirmed death of George. The unexpected nature of his demise makes it difficult to pinpoint when exactly he will meet his end. He can die anytime moving forward, which makes it so much more nerve-wracking. It’s dubious that Young Sheldon will wait until the very last minute to pull off his demise, especially since the cast seemingly filmed his funeral. Whatever the case may be, expect that George’s death will be the beginning of the emotional end of the Coopers’ Medford story.
Recent set images, on the other hand, tease Sheldon’s arrival at Caltech, which becomes his post-graduate school and place of employment in The Big Bang Theory. Whether that will be the parting shot of Young Sheldon is uncertain. That said, it seems like the perfect way to cap off his childhood and transition him to a life where he will eventually live in Pasadena.
