Don’t believe everything you read! Jenny McCarthy recently set the record straight regarding swirling rumors about her marriage to Donnie Wahlberg, asserting that the speculation about a divorce was completely unfounded.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, a viewer asked McCarthy about the rumors, prompting her to respond emphatically. “I’m so glad you asked because so many people, even our relatives, were like, ‘Tell me it isn’t so!’ I was like, ‘What the hell are you talking about?’” she said, as the audience enjoyed shots from a Shotski.
The confusion stemmed from McCarthy’s busy schedule while Wahlberg was on tour with New Kids on the Block this summer. As a judge on The Masked Singer, she wasn’t able to join him until the end of the tour, leading some to speculate about trouble in their relationship. “One comment said, ‘I think they’re in trouble’ because I didn’t visit him on tour,” she explained.
When host Andy Cohen asked if she was expected to attend every NKOTB show, McCarthy humorously replied, “I would like to, but I also like to make a living.”
Reinforcing their bond, McCarthy stated, “There will never, ever, ever be a divorce between me and Donnie. It’s ‘til death do us part,’ no matter what.”
Wahlberg, who was in the audience, added his support, declaring, “We will never break your heart, Andy,” and echoing McCarthy’s commitment to their marriage. The couple, married for 10 years, has mastered the art of maintaining their relationship despite the distance, regularly calling each other while she films in L.A. and he works in New York. Fans can rest assured that this duo is going strong!
