Bridgerton and Benophie fans may want to sit down because Season 4’s leading lady Yerin Ha is spilling which book moment she’s most excited about.
Swooon was on the scene at the premiere of Dune: Prophecy, in which Ha features as Young Kasha. She offered some exciting and fun details about book moments she’s thrilled about filming with Luke Thompson, her onscreen leading man, as Season 4 production on Bridgerton continues.
As fans recently saw in newly-released promo footage, Ha and Thompson referenced the pages of Julia Quinn’s An Offer From a Gentleman as they gear up for Benedict and Sophie Baek’s masquerade ball encounter. But when it comes to a book scene Ha is eager to bring to TV screens, she admits, “I don’t know if it is [a spoiler], but I’m going to say the lake scene.”

Book readers would know better than anyone what that scene might entail, but further details will have to wait as Ha left off her answer there. In Quinn’s book, Sophie happens to stumble across Benedict taking a dip in a lake near his country home known as My Cottage. But to put it in Bridgerton terms, he’s swimming in “a state of undress.”
Whether the show’s scene or moment resembles the books exactly is something we’ll be eagerly awaiting, but in the meantime, Ha opened up more about her overall experience joining Netflix‘s Shondaland hit. “It’s just been really wonderful,” Ha gushes. “There genuinely isn’t a bad thing to say… and it made me realize, ‘Oh, maybe this is why Bridgerton is so successful,’ because everyone is just so collaborative and they listen. Everyone’s there to support you and your journey and also care about your mental health and well-being just spiritually and physically.”
The star says she thinks those are “solid building blocks of a really good show,” adding, “Working with Luke has really been wonderful, and I can’t wait to do more stuff with him.”
