Fire Country Synopsis, courtesy of CBS:
Fire Country stars Max Thieriot as Bode Leone, a young inmate who seeks redemption and a shorter sentence by joining the Northern California prison firefighting program, where he and other inmates are teamed up with elite firefighters to extinguish large, unpredictable wildfires across the region. It’s a high-risk, high-reward assignment, and the pressure is on when Bode is assigned to the program in his rural hometown, where he was a great American son until his troubles began.
Years ago, Bode burned everything in his life down, leaving the town with a big secret. Now he’s back, with a criminal record and the audacity to believe in a chance at redemption with Cal Fire.
