Chicago Med Season 10 saw the return of a character fans never thought they would see again: Nurse Jackie, also known as Maggie’s ED coworker who had one heck of a guest arc.
What happened with Nurse Jackie on Chicago Med?
Nurse Jackie, played by Natalie Zea, originally appeared in Chicago Med Season 9 as a nurse who briefly interacted with nurse Maggie Lockwood while working in the ED of Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. The storyline revolved around Maggie’s concern over Jackie after noticing cuts on her arms, which she suspected was from abuse. Dr. Daniel Charles, however, later determined that Jackie had been harming herself.
The episode continued with Maggie finding Jackie in a bathroom before she passed out from self-harm wounds. Maggie told Charles about the incident, which led him to put Jackie on a 72-hour psych hold when she tried returning to work at the hospital as if nothing had happened.
