Tracker Billie’s Return in Season 2 Proves Why She’s Bad for Colter

After appearing in one episode of the first season, Sofia Pernas returned as Billie Matalon in Tracker Season 2, Episode 3 to reunite with Justin Hartley’s Colter Shaw and show why the two characters don’t work together as a couple. Pernas debuted as Colter’s rival Billie in Season 1, Episode 6. Billy was Colter’s former partner who betrayed him by taking a reward for a case and leaving town. However, in the first season, the two trackers teamed up to find a missing racehorse and reunited on another case in Tracker Season 2.
Colter has had his fair share of love interests throughout the series. Tracker, but Billie is definitely one of the standouts. Since Billie previously left town on bad terms with its residents, she convinces Colter to act as a buffer between her and them while they try to find Eric. Although Billie is left a little hurt by Colter in the end, Tracker Season 2 Episode 3 still proves why they shouldn’t have been a couple. Colter and Billy have completely different values and principles when it comes to work. Bye Billy works primarily for money, Colter thrives on helping people. She quits in the third episode after the bounty runs out, but Colter stays and goes looking for Eric on his own. Neither of them are right or wrong, but Tracker The characters’ methods and morals will never match.

Sofia Pernas Will Return
Despite all the reasons why Billie was the wrong woman for Colter, Sofia Pernas will still be back in future episodes. Per US Weekly, Justin Hartley confirmed that his wife, Pernas, will reprise her role as Billy. after Tracker season 2, episode 3. During an appearance on Max’s Channel Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? Hartley said:
“[Sofia Pernas will be] next week [Tracker season 2, episode 3]. She’s back multiple times. It’s great. It’s great that she exists. She’s a light and we have the best guest stars on our show.”
It’s unclear which episodes Pernas will play Billy in. However, Tracker is reportedly set to have 22 episodes in the second season, which means the actress will have plenty of opportunities to return to the CBS action series. In addition to Pernas, Jensen Ackles is also expected to return as Russell Shaw in the series. Tracker Season 2 follows his appearance in Episode 2, and Hartley hopes Melissa Roxburgh will reprise her role as Dorie Shaw before the season ends.
