FBI season 4 brings the characters back after the turning point

The FBI has confirmed that Shantel VanSanten’s character Nina Chase will return in season four.

The For All Mankind and The Boys star will take on the recurring role of Nina.

VanSanten, who also appeared in The Flash, first guest-starred as Agent Chase in an episode that aired on April 12, but will now appear again in next week’s episode and in the remainder of the series. season (via TVLine). Related: The Flash star why her character was written out suddenly.

Described as “smart, tough and successful”, Nina is first introduced during an undercover mission where she must infiltrate a drug ring. As her case intersects with the main team’s investigation into a double murder, it is revealed that Nina and Scola (John Boyd) have some history.

The two had an intimate relationship in the past, which resulted in Scola haunting her. When Tiffany (Katherine Renee Turner) found out, Scola tried to explain that he’s changed his approach to dating since then. He then apologizes to Nina by inviting her to dinner, which she accepts.

FBI star Missy Peregrym will miss the final four episodes of the current season – the final episode is scheduled to air on May 24 in the US – on maternity leave.

Peregrym’s character, Agent Maggie Bell, is still recovering from residual neurological damage from exposure to the sarin gas crisis when she and OA Zidan (Zeeko Zaki) track down Hakeen Abbas to a laboratory .

FBI airs every Tuesday on CBS in the US. In the UK, Sky Witness is expected to air these latest FBI episodes in late 2022.
