Since premiering in 2018, Station 19, the firefighter spinoff to the long-running medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, has logged top ratings for ABC, second only to its predecessor. But, alas, all good things must come to an end. Deadline reported in December 2023 that the show is wrapping after its seventh season, which has since begun airing. The cancelation came early enough in the season’s production—which resumed after the wrap-up of the dual Hollywood strikes—to allow its creative team to deliver a proper ending to the series.
