Directed by Wicked Little Letters‘ Thea Sharrock, and written by Jojo Moyes, based on her own 2012 novel of the same name, Me Before You was an undeniable hit upon its initial release back in 2016, earning an impressive 73% from audiences on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, despite falling short to a mixed 54% critics’ score.
Now, almost 10 years later, Me Before You is proving popular on Prime Video, making waves across the world on the streamer. For the past few days, Me Before You has been fluctuating within Prime Video’s top 10 in a plethora of countries worldwide, including Argentina, Egypt, Mexico, and others. Not quite hitting the top spot in any country, the film has peaked most recently in Guatemala, where it finished 3rd on both July 4 and July 6. On July 5, the movie found its highest average ranking across all its top 10 placements, with a 5.4 score from 13 countries.
