In the lead-up to the release of After We Fell, fans were treated to another round of promotional interviews featuring the beloved duo, Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford. While this year’s press tour took place over Zoom — much to the disappointment of fans who longed to see them sitting side by side — the chemistry and charm between the two still shone through every frame.
One of the most memorable moments came when they were asked, “Who forgets their lines the most?” Without hesitation, Hero pointed to himself, joking that it wasn’t because he had a bad memory, but because Josephine’s memory was simply unbeatable. Josephine, with a knowing smile, confirmed it — and fans couldn’t help but laugh at their playful dynamic.
The conversation turned personal when they were asked where they would live if they couldn’t stay in their hometowns. Josephine chose New York, while Hero opted for Los Angeles. Of course, sharp-eyed fans immediately remembered where Josephine’s U.S. home is — sparking plenty of speculation online.
Perhaps the most talked-about moment, however, was when the topic of long-distance relationships came up. Josephine calmly said it was “possible,” but Hero jumped in without missing a beat, confidently declaring, “Easyyyy,” with an elongated, teasing tone. His confident, almost defiant delivery sent social media into a frenzy, with many fans interpreting it as a not-so-subtle wink at their off-screen rapport.
Even though this year’s promo was conducted virtually, the interviews reminded fans why they’ve been so invested in this on-screen couple. The lighthearted banter, the subtle teasing, and the moments that feel just a little too genuine for scripted promo all combined to fuel anticipation for After We Fell — and keep fans talking long after the interviews ended.
