Despite his newfound fame, Goodall plans to maintain his job as a janitor for the time being. “I plan to for a while still yet, and then invest a little, and then plan smart,” he explained, emphasizing his and his wife Angela’s desire to remain grounded and conservative with their winnings. “We’re just regular people… no expectations of what’s coming ahead.”

When asked about his love for ’80s music, Goodall highlighted its timeless quality and emotional resonance, noting that songs from that era continue to inspire new generations. He mentioned several songs he wished he could have performed but faced challenges with rights and approval from songwriters.

Looking Ahead

While Goodall doesn’t have specific plans for albums or tours, he is open to opportunities in the music industry. “I would like to sing music across America or whatever,” he shared. His main goal, however, is to inspire others: “I think it’s important to inspire people to not give up on their dreams… People just need a little bit of hope and kindness.”

Goodall also shared his admiration for fellow contestants, particularly the Los Osos High School group and magician Solange Kardinaly, highlighting the strong connections formed during the competition.
