Baby Jerry From ‘Roseanne’ Is All Grown Up! See More of the Iconic Cast Then and Now

It’s hard to believe that Roseanne‘s original run on ABC is three decades old! The iconic sitcom starring Roseanne Barr and John Goodman debuted in 1988 and launched the careers of several famous actors. But there’s one star from the series that many fans still have questions about: Where is baby Jerry now?

Roseanne’s tiniest character was actually played by a set of twins, Cole Roberts and Morgan Roberts. The adorable character of baby Jerry, whose full name on the beloved series was Jerry Garcia Conner, joined the cast in 1995. At the time, Roseanne and her husband, Dan Conner (portrayed by John), named their new addition Jerry Garcia as an homage to the late Grateful Dead singer. Can you believe the twins are now in their twenties?!

Aside from Cole, Morgan, Roseanne and John, the Emmy Award-winning show also starred Johnny Galecki, Sara Gilbert, Laurie Metcalf, Lecy Goranson, Sarah Chalke, Michael Fishman and more. The legendary cast appeared on the series for 9 seasons from 1998 to 1997, but they returned over 20 years later for a 10th season in 2018.

Looking back on the years they spent filming Roseanne, the stars are so proud of the legacy they left behind. “The biggest thing from the show, and I think fans agree, is learning how to deal with tough times with humor,” Michael, who played D.J. Conner, gushed to Closer Weekly in 2018. “Trying to stick together — that’s what the core of the show is.”

At the time they reunited to film season 10, Laurie was blown away by the emotion of being back on the familiar living room set. “It seemed like no time had passed at all,” she marveled to Closer. “Being in the same room with everybody again was the best part.”

Sadly, Roseanne was canceled shortly before they started filming season 11. ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey said they were forced to “cancel [the] show” after Roseanne made a racist Twitter statement that is “abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values,” The Hollywood Reporter reported at the time. The sitcom was later created under the new name, The Conners, but Roseanne was nixed from the cast.

WE’RE STILL NOT OVER WHEN DAN CHEATED ON ROSEANNE ON THE TV SHOW ‘ROSEANNE’
Following the premiere of The Conners in 2018, a source close to the cast said many of her costars felt “sorry” for Roseanne. “They didn’t like what she said, but she never said those things on the set,” the insider told Closer.

Roseanne may no longer be on the air, but there’s no denying the cast has come a long way since the 1988 premiere.
