She expressed her gratitude for being part of the show, emphasizing that it was never about the character’s limited screen time. She noted that there were many bonuses that came from the experience.
The actress highlighted that Bridgerton is the biggest TV show on Netflix, and questioned who would turn down such an opportunity. She reasoned that being invited to work on set with an amazing team, wearing beautiful costumes, and being part of a Shondaland production was something no one would refuse.
While expressing her long-held belief that she would rather take on a small role in something great than a large role in something subpar. She emphasized that Bridgerton is the biggest show on the OTT platform, making her decision to join the cast an easy one. As a big fan of the show, she described getting to the set, meeting everyone, and reading the script for the next season as a dream come true.
When asked how she became a part of ‘Bridgerton’, she explained that she was on holiday with her family when she received a call to audition for the show. After auditioning, her agent informed her two days later that she had gotten the part and needed to return to London. She left her family abroad and quickly returned to the UK, where she soon found herself in costume trials. She noted that the whole process happened very quickly.
