After a year away from Port Charles, Jon Lindstrom is making his General Hospital return right in the middle of Laura’s chaos.
Kevin Comes Home for the Holidays
Lindstrom’s Kevin hasn’t been seen in Port Charles since last December, and has recently been said to be in Dublin, Ireland. Now, Lindstrom is bringing Kevin home on December 2, just in time to enter Laura’s (Genie Francis) current chaos. Kevin’s wife just won re-election for Mayor of Port Charles, but things took a shocking turn when she found a dead man in her trunk; a man she had previously publicly threatened. Now that she and Sonny (Maurice Benard) are covering up Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) murder and apparent frame job on Laura, Kevin is about to wind up in the middle of it all…or be kept in the dark.
Daytime fans may know that Lindstrom hasn’t been away from the genre since exiting GH. Since the soap’s February premiere, Lindstrom has been playing Fairmont Crest villain Joey Armstrong on Beyond The Gates, and villainous characters are no stranger to the actor. Long before he was Joey or Kevin, Lindstrom made his GH debut as Ryan Chamberlain, the evil twin brother of Kevin’s, who was eventually killed in 2023 after decades of heinous acts.
Of course, skeptical GH viewers have got to ask…is this really Kevin? Although Ryan supposedly died, the villains always come back, and if anyone’s going to make things worse for Laura right now, it’s Ryan.
