There is a new member in the ton! Actress Katie Leung has joined the cast of Bridgerton Season 4 and will play the role of Lady Araminta Gun. Netflix, on September 16, announced that production has officially started in London. The fourth season of the popular show will focus on Benedict Bridgerton and his love interest Sophie Baek. Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha will feature as the leads.
Harry Potter fans may be familiar with Katie Leung. The actress had famously played Cho Chang in the film series Harry’s first girlfriend/love interest before he fell for Ginny Weasely.
In Bridgerton Season 4, Katie, 37, will play Lady Araminta Gun, a character described as “twice married and twice widowed.” Her two daughters, Rosamund Li (played by Michelle Mao) and Posy Li (played by Isabella Wei), are making their debut on the marriage market this season. Lady Araminta is “feeling the pressure to get at least one of [her girls] married off,” with Rosamund setting her sights on Benedict Bridgerton.
