Torrey DeVitto is married!
The Chicago Med alum, 40, quietly tied the knot with director Jared LaPine over the weekend, ahead of welcoming their first baby together.
LaPine shared a post on his Instagram Stories on Sunday, Sept. 15, featuring a photo of the newlyweds smiling at their wedding, as their loved ones looked on in the background. The couple’s friend Brittany Mychael also shared a post on her Instagram which included a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the intimate nuptials.
One black-and-white snapshot showed DeVitto and LaPine holding hands in their wedding attire, with the Pretty Little Liars actress showing off her baby bump in a floor-length wedding gown that featured a sheer tulle overlay and lace details.
Another sun-filled photo captured DeVitto and LaPine holding hands during their ceremony, which took place in a garden.
Brittany also included shots of the rustic reception venue — which appeared to be a barn with soaring wood rafters — a spread of food and guests mingling and dancing together.
She captioned the post, “An incredible amount of love this evening and just as much fun. ♥ Congratulations Torrey + Jared!”

It was first reported that the pair was engaged in September 2023. Devitto revealed that LaPine popped the question to her over Labor Day weekend that year, sharing in a post on Instagram at the time that he proposed to her while they were out for a stroll on a farm.
“Earlier this month at 5 p.m. on a weekday while walking the back trails at the farm, still in my PJs and goat boots, he got down on one knee, in what I hoped wasn’t poison ivy, and asked for forever,“ DeVitto wrote in the Instagram post. “My answer was obvious. ❤️🔒.”
The couple first went Instagram official in June 2023, when DeVitto shared photos of her and her now-husband on a trip to Michigan. The same month, LaPine posted a photo of the pair on his Instagram with the caption, “Enter Cheesy/Sappy line here.” DeVitto replied to the post: “I love us.”
In May 2024, the pair announced that they are expecting their first child together, a baby girl.

In the lead-up to the wedding, the actress celebrated her bachelorette party with a group of friends at a summer camp in Tonica, Ilinois. DeVitto’s Chicago Med costar Marina Squerciati, who was in attendance at the celebrations, shared photos of the occasion on Instagram.
“Torrey Devitto’s ‘I do’ crew. @camparamoni We laughed, we cried, we did arts n’ crafts, yoga, s’mores by the fire… wish I was still there. #torreydevitto #bachloretteweekend #illinois #camparamoni #girlstrip,” Squerciati wrote in the post’s caption.
DeVitto has recently starred in a number of Hallmark movies, the latest being Love’s Greek to Me, which was released in June 2023. She also previously appeared in several TV shows including One Tree Hill and The Vampire Diaries.
She was previously wed to The Vampire Diaries’ actor Paul Wesley. The pair split in 2013 after two years of marriage.
