In the 70s, Bill Cosby created For Albert and The Cosby Kids, an animated series that was broadcast on Saturdays based on his childhood in Philadelphia and promoted good behavior and morals.
By the same time, the private life of the comedian did not agree with its impeccable public image. As Cosby himself acknowledged decades later, being married, he obtained metacualone pills to give them women with them to have sex.
The gap between the public cosby (the model of behavior and moralistic) and the private cosby (the womaniego indicated by allegedly drug and violate women) is what led a federal judge this month to make public parties of the statement under oath that the artist made between 2005 and 2006 in a demand for sexual abuse.
Cosby, 78, denies the accusations against him, the majority made long after they prescribed, and has not been accused of any crime.
1960

In private: Joan Tarshis states that Cosby drugged her and abused her in 1969, when she was 19 years old.
1970
In public: in addition to creating For Albert and making the voices of some of the characters, Cosby starred The Electric Company, an educational television program for children. He also appeared in the first of numerous commercials of Jell-O with adorable children. He returned to University and obtained a doctorate in education.
In private: at least two women say that Cosby drugged them and abused them. A third woman says that the actor forced her to have sexual contact with him in the Playboy mansion in 1974, when she was 15 years old. In the statements made public in recent days, Cosby acknowledged that he used metacualone in the 70s “as when someone says ‘we take a drink.’ ”. He denied having given the drug to women without their consent.
1980
In public: Cosby releases the acclaimed film Bill Cosby: Himself, about the vicissitudes of raising children. After this, it releases its greatest success and the most popular comedy in the United States at the time, The Cosby Show. His interpretation of Dr. Cliff Huxtable, – an obstetrician who used sweater and was playful, loving, wise and the father of five children – sealed his image as the father of the United States.
Outside the set of The Cosby Show, Cosby, who only made white comedy, scolded Eddie Murphy for her rude jokes, as Murphy recalled in her 1987 RAW comedy tape.
In private: at least eight women, including the Janice Dickinson model, say that the artist drugged them and abused them or tried to have sexual contact without them wanting it.
2000
In public: President George W. Bush gives Cosby the presidential medal of La Libertad, the greatest recognition that the country gives to a civilian, in his case for “using the power of laughter to heal wounds and tend bridges.” In 2004, Cosby pronounces a speech in which he laments social dysfunction in black neighborhoods, criticizes single mothers and baggy pants and accuses some blacks of wasting the opportunities that opened with the movement for civil rights. Then he tour the country in which he speaks to black men and women about morality and responsibility.
In private: the administrator of the Basketball Team of the University of Temple, Andrea Constand, denounces that Cosby drugged her and sexually abused her in her mansion in a suburb of Philadelphia in 2004. In the statement, which made as part of the demand that was resolved in 2006, Cosby said she gave Constand the medication for the Benadryl cold and that they had a consensual contact. A prosecutor refused to present positions arguing that there was not enough evidence.
Another accuser, the Chloe Goins model, denounced that Cosby drugged her and sexually abused her in the Playboy mansion in 2008. Cosby’s lawyers say she was not in the mansion the night that supposedly the incident occurred. California authorities check this case.
