Blue Bloods: Behind the Badge – Secrets the Reagans Never Told You

Blue Bloods : Erasing History

Relationships within families can be complicated, and Blue Bloods Season 8 Episode 13 proved that the Reagan family is no exception.

But I was surprised just how quickly things spiraled between Danny and Henry.

Danny seemed particularly thin-skinned about having his grandfather involved in the case. He kept insisting that Henry was meddling, and Henry certainly wanted to be involved, but I never felt he stepped over the line.

Every time Danny snapped at Henry or tried to shut him down it had me wondering exactly when Danny became so insecure about his abilities as an investigator.

I thought he would have had more fun with Henry, similar to how Baez reacted to his presence, but I was completely wrong.

Perhaps Danny and Henry are a little too much alike to be able to work together effectively.

Even if Danny felt like Henry was meddling in his case, Danny creating a scene in the middle of the precinct and embarrassing his grandfather was out of line.

In the end, it took Baez to point out that someone with Henry’s experience might have noticed something that could help them crack the case, but we never did find out of Tim Stebinski was murdered, or felt guilty about running a man down and took his own life.

Mario Vangelis: So where did we meet, Sweetheart?
Baez: I was with the Organized Crime Control Bureau. You were the organized criminal.

I also found myself wishing that we could have seen Baez slap the cuffs on Mario Vangelis if only for all of the times he called her sweetheart.

To her credit, she never let the guy get under her skin, and that’s certainly a lesson her partner could learn from her, not that Danny will ever see it that way.
