There are some things that we would love to see happen in Blue Bloods before it comes to an end. And while the show being saved is most definitely one of them, we’re talking about scenes in the show for this post.
One of those scenes that we’ve waited the longest time for is having all four Reagan cousins on the screen together. Could that happen in the final season? There is a little bit of hope.
Joe Hill is definitely back in the Blue Bloods final episodes
Before the series comes to an end, we will see Joe Hill return. Will Hochman’s character has been in the series since Season 10, and he pops up now and then to aid in the case and just for some quieter family moments.
Joe is going to be “integral” to the series, according to showrunner Kevin Wade to TVLine. He didn’t go into more detail, but it makes sense with how integral he’s been throughout the series.
The four cousins may be on screen together in Blue Bloods
One thing we’ve never seen is all four cousins on screen together. Joe has sat beside his cousin Sean Reagan before, but that’s it. He hasn’t met his cousins Nicky and Jack—at least, not on the screen. We’re sure a lot happened within the family off the screen.
Well, the final episodes may see all four cousins together. Wade didn’t confirm, but he did answer questions about it with a wink. That’s a hint that it’s going to happen, right? We have to believe that! It’s possible that we will need to wait for the final episode. To be honest, we’ll take a family dinner scene with absolutely everyone from Blue Bloods as a way to end the show. I don’t think any of us can imagine this series ending in any other fashion.
Blue Bloods Season 14B premieres on Friday, Oct. 18 on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
