“Blue Bloods” & SVU Actor Isaiah Stokes Convicted—What Led to the Shocking Murder Verdict?

Isaiah Stokes, an actor who has appeared on episodes of Blue Bloods, Power, and Law and Order: SVU, could face life in prison after being convicted for the 2021 murder of a New York City man.

After a two-week trial, a jury found the actor guilty of second-degree murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in relation to the Feb. 7, 2021 shooting death of Tyrone Jones, a press release published by the Queens District Attorney’s Office reports.

Stokes met Jones at the latter’s birthday party in Queens in October 2020, where they got into a physical altercation over Stokes’ unsuitable behavior toward female attendees, per the release, which cites his charges and trial testimony. Stokes was reportedly injured by other partygoers in a separate incident after he rebuffed Jones’ request to leave the event.
