“Boston Blue Cast EXPOSED: Secrets, Surprises, and Scandals Behind the Scenes!”

Boston Blue is keeping the Blue Bloods universe alive with the return of Donnie Wahlberg as Danny Reagan, but the spinoff is also introducing many new faces. The CBS police procedural series, developed by Brandon Sonnier and Brandon Margolis, begins with Danny’s move to Boston. As fans of the original show know, Blue Bloods didn’t end with Danny leaving New York City or with any kind of tease that he was thinking of transferring to the Boston Police Department. Alas, Danny is coming to Boston, where he’ll meet many new people.

As mentioned, Wahlberg leads the cast of Boston Blue. He is joined by various new characters, both within the Boston Police Department and the city’s legal system and their families. As of the writing of this article, Wahlberg is the only known Blue Bloods cast member who is set to appear in the spinoff. Of course, some familiar faces occasionally popping in for a cameo is a possibility. Boston isn’t that far from New York City, after all. For now, though, fans will just see Danny starting anew in Boston and forming connections with his colleagues.

Donnie Wahlberg As Danny Reagan

Date Of Birth: August 17, 1969

After New Kids on the Block broke up in 1994, Wahlberg started acting. He appeared in various films and TV series, but Wahlberg’s most known role is still as Danny Reagan in Blue Bloods.

Character: Wahlberg reprises his role as Danny in Boston Blue. Given that Wahlberg was born and raised in Boston, his casting in the Blue Bloods spinoff is akin to a homecoming. As for his character, though, the show begins with Danny’s transfer from the NYPD to the BPD. Fans will have to tune in to Boston Blue to learn more about Danny’s move and his fresh start, including why he decided to leave New York.
