Bridgerton Season 4 will be released in 2026. This marks the middle point of the planned eight-season series. Netflix has now committed to at least six seasons. The show adapts the books written by Julia Quinn. Each season focuses on one of the Bridgerton siblings.
Season 4 Lead Characters
The announcement came during Netflix’s presentation to advertisers. The event included a preview of Season 4. The footage introduced Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha as Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek. The scene showed them meeting at a masquerade ball. Benedict sees Sophie for the first time. This moment hints at a central romance for the season.
Previous Seasons and Their Leads
The first season was released in December 2020. It followed Daphne Bridgerton and Simon Basset. Season 2, in March 2022, focused on Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma. Season 3 came in two parts in 2024. It told the story of Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington.
Next Seasons to Focus On?
Four siblings have yet to be featured as season leads. They are Eloise, Francesca, Gregory, and Hyacinth Bridgerton. Future seasons are expected to highlight their personal journeys. Netflix has not yet confirmed the order of their stories.
