‘Bridgerton’ Franchise Takes Over Netflix Top 10 TV List; Jennifer Lopez Thriller ‘Atlas’ Is Week’s Most-Watched Title
Netflix viewers are still falling for Penelope and Colin’s love story.
Season 3, Part 1 of Bridgerton remained atop the Netflix Top 10 TV charts last week, after posting impressive debut weekend viewership. In its first full week on the streamer, those four episodes tallied 25.3M views.
While that’s considerably down from the week prior, it was enough to hold onto No. 1 on the English-language TV list.
However, second place is perhaps the most notable this week, as that spot went to Bridgerton Season 1. Already one of Netflix’s most-watched series of all time, the first season of Bridgerton amassed another 6.4M views last week.
Whether audiences were refreshing themselves before jumping into Season 3, or they were revisiting the previous seasons to hold themselves over until Part 2 drops on June 13, the buzz around the series also sent Season 2 to No. 4 with 5.3M views.
And it was a family affair, as the entire franchise held spots on the Top 10 this week. Prequel series Queen Charlotte snuck its way to No. 8 with 3.1M views.
The remaining spots that weren’t dominated by Bridgerton went to Baby Reindeer in fifth place with 4.5M views and Bodkin at No. 9 with 1.9M views. Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, Tires, and Buying London also managed appearances.
As for the film side of things, Jennifer Lopez made another splash on Netflix with Atlas. The sci-fi thriller snagged 28.2M views, making it the most-watched title of the week.
