Initially released in two parts, it became eligible for Netflix’s Most Popular list only after all episodes were available.
“Bridgerton” Season 3 has quickly become one of Netflix’s top English-language shows, garnering 91.9 million views since its May 16 premiere and securing the 10th spot on Netflix’s all-time TV chart within just 45 days of release.
It achieved notable success despite its unique release structure. Initially released in two parts, it became eligible for Netflix’s Most Popular list only after all episodes were available.
By June 9, the first four episodes alone had amassed 88.9 million views, demonstrating strong viewer interest and securing its position on the chart.
“Bridgerton” Season 3’s performance is impressive in comparison to other seasons of the series and other popular Netflix shows.
Season 2 closely follows Season 3 as the ninth most popular English-language series with 93.8 million views in its initial 91 days, while Season 1 holds the fourth spot with 113.3 million views.
Season 3 is on track to potentially surpass Season 2 and other notable titles like “Stranger Things” Season 3 and “Fool Me Once.”
The competition remains active within the initial 91 days of streaming, with “Baby Reindeer” recently entering the chart during the June 3-9 viewing period.
During the June 24-30 viewing period, “Bridgerton” Season 3 topped the TV charts with 6.6 million views. However, it was surpassed by four movies in terms of overall viewership during that time frame.
During the week of June 24-30, “A Family Affair,” starring Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron, was the most-watched title on Netflix, accumulating 26.8 million views within its first three days.
Following closely was “Trigger Warning” with 26.3 million views, continuing its strong performance from the previous week.
Additionally, the 1997 thriller “Kiss the Girls” garnered 7.1 million views after being added to Netflix. On the non-English-language movies chart, “Inheritance” maintained its top position for the second consecutive week with 8.2 million views.
In the English-language TV category for that week:
– “A Family Affair” led with 26.8 million views.
– “Supacell” debuted at No. 2 with 6.4 million views in its first four days.
– Season 2 of “Worst Roommate Ever” followed with 5.7 million views in five days.
– “America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders” climbed to No. 4 with 3.7 million views.
