Bridgerton‘s fourth season is mere days away, and finally, fans have some additional insight into what they can anticipate from the latest chapter, highlighting Benedict (Luke Thompson) and Sophie’s (Yerin Ha) love story as Netflix unveiled the episode titles.

While the episode titles may seem vague to some viewers, fans of Julia Quinn’s novel An Offer From a Gentleman, upon which Season 4 is based, may be able to make some educated guesses as to what some installments will include. Although the premiere episode clearly surrounds the highly anticipated masquerade ball that some fans have already seen, there is still plenty to uncover. Below, we’re breaking down a few theories we’re spinning after learning about the episodes to come. Ranging from information we know about the books and characters to the implications of the titles based on their tone.

“An Offer From a Gentleman”

The title of Episode 4 pulls from Quinn’s novel and will likely include a pivotal moment in which Benedict asks Sophie to be his mistress after realizing the depth of his feelings for her. He’s feeling challenged by their difference in station, with him being noble and her being a maid. In the book, this happens in tandem with the long-awaited lake scene in which Sophie stumbles across Benedict, naked and swimming in a lake on his My Cottage property. Could this all unfold in Episode 4? Fans will have to tune in to find out.

“Yes or No”

Episode 5’s title seems to hint at Benedict’s search for an answer surrounding his and Sophie’s relationship after he asks her to be his mistress. In the book, Benedict can’t marry Sophie because of their difference in class, but he’s also held back from committing because he’s waiting for his Lady in Silver, whom he meets at the masquerade, unaware that it’s Sophie herself. While Sophie turns down his offer to be his mistress in the book, he’s persistent and continues to ask, making us wonder if this episode will track his pursuit of a more desirable outcome to his offer

“The Passing Winter”

This title for Episode 6 seems to hint at a time-jump of sorts and, dare we say, room for a potential Christmas episode? We never really get an opportunity to see the Bridgerton family in the off-season, and this title seems to hint at room for a potential gathering of the family in a way we haven’t seen for some time. And if it were a Christmas episode, is there a chance that it will be Kate (Simone Ashley) and Anthony’s (Jonathan Bailey) opportunity to return from India and enjoy the holidays with their family in England? It’s only a theory, but one we wouldn’t mind coming true.

“The Beyond”

Okay, based on Bridgerton‘s books, we’re anxious about this title, which feels like it could be hinting at a potential death. As readers know, Francesca’s (Hannah Dodd) husband, John (Victor Alli), doesn’t survive the book series, but is it already his time to go? We can’t be certain, but it could also refer to Queen Charlotte’s (Golda Rosheuvel) beloved husband, King George, or even Marina (Ruby Barker), who wed Sir Philip Crane (Chris Fulton) to legitimize her twins, but dies in the books, making way for Eloise’s (Claudia Jessie) story. Regardless of what avenue the show chooses to take, this title for Episode 7 feels ominous.

“Dance in the Country”

Are we in for a finale wedding? Episode 8’s title, teasing a “Dance in the Country,” makes us feel like there’s a strong possibility. In the books, Benedict and Sophie do end up married, and based on what we know of them, their favorite place is the countryside at My Cottage. Will Season 4 wrap with a big country wedding at their estate? One can only hope.
