Bridgerton has found its new leading lady for Season 4 in Yerin Ha, who will portray Sophie Beckett. But, as with any good romance, there’s always a rival, and this time it comes in the form of Lady Araminta Gun, played by none other than Harry Potter actress Katie Leung.

Katie Leung, known for her role as Cho Chang in the Harry Potter series, joins the cast as Lady Araminta Gun, a “twice-married and twice-widowed” woman with two daughters entering the marriage market. As the official character description states, Araminta is “fabulous, discerning, and blunt,” and she doesn’t take kindly to anyone challenging her social standing.
Lady Araminta’s eldest daughter, Rosamund Li (played by Michelle Mao), is described as “beautiful, vain, and eager to please her mother.” Rosamund has her sights set on Benedict Bridgerton and is as determined as her mother to achieve her goals. Isabella Wei joins the cast as Posy Li, Rosamund’s kinder and more talkative younger sister.
Last month, Korean-Australian actress Ha was announced to play Beckett in the upcoming season of Netflix’s hit period drama. Ha will portray the love interest of Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) in the upcoming fourth season, based on Julia Quinn’s third Bridgerton novel, An Offer From a Gentleman
