Blue Bloods star Bridget Moynahan proved she and ex Tom Brady are still on very friendly terms as she wrote that she was ‘so proud’ of him after he won his seventh Super Bowl on Sunday.
Bridget, 49, who dated quarterback Tom, 43, from 2004-2006 and the mother of his son Jon ‘Jack’ Edward, 13, took to Instagram to heap praise on him, writing: ‘ I am pretty sure I am not the only one from #patriotsnation celebrating @buccaneers.’
Bridget (born Kathryn) also included the hashtags ‘#superbowl #greatgame #strong #soproud #55,’ alongside a picture of him holding the ball and looking to the sky.
Brady and the Sex and the City alum’s son John was on the field of the Raymond James Stadium alongside his stepmother Gisele Bündchen, 40, and two half-siblings.
Gisele also took to social media to voice her support to her man. They married in 2009 and are parents to Benjamin Rein, 11 and Vivian, eight
The first of Bundchen’s posts showed a beautiful sunset that had taken place over Tampa’s waterfront while the track Go Bucs by artist Zayboe_Baby played.
In addition to tagging her location, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel wrote ‘Let’s go Bucs!!!’ in the caption for the snap.
Her second Story showed her arriving at the Raymond James Stadium, and she expressed her enthusiasm for the event by exclaiming, ‘Let’s go…game time!’
Bundchen’s final video showed her sitting next to a friend while being driven in a vehicle that had been modified for COVID-19 safety protocols.
The supermodel has been a Buccaneers fan ever since her husband joined the team last year.
The quarterback notably played for the New England Patriots for 19 years and led the team to six Super Bowl victories. He also helped the longstanding football franchise take home nine AFC championships.
After defeating the Kansas City Chiefs, the Tampa Bay Buccaneer quarterback has certainly earned the $30M-per-year free agent contract he signed in March.
Tom famously ended his two-year relationship with Bridget in December 2006 – the same month he went on a blind date with the IMG Model Gisele at West Village wine bar, Turks & Frogs.
According to TMZ, Tom proposed to Gisele in 2009 on a private plane from New Jersey to Boston, lining the inside of the jet with four dozen roses and champagne.
Less than a fortnight later, the couple married in a small Catholic ceremony at St. Monica Catholic Church in California.
He told GQ: ‘We planned it in 10 days and it was perfect.’
They held a second ceremony two months later on the beach of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, where they own a house.
Gisele told Vanity Fair that she knew Tom was the one from their very first date.
She said: ‘I knew right way — the first time I saw him. The moment I saw him, he smiled and I was like, “That is the most beautiful, charismatic smile I’ve ever seen!”‘
Moynahan awkwardly welcomed baby Jack eight months later.
Gisele gave her perspective of Moynahan’s pregnancy in her own book, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life, which was released in 2018.
She found out Moynahan was expecting her child with Brady two months after Gisele started dating him.
