“Casting Gold: Ransom Canyon Lands Brolin, Greene & Macken”

The series stars Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly in lead roles

Earlier, we reported that Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly were set to lead Netflix’s upcoming original drama series Ransom Canyon. Now, the already star-powered cast is getting even stronger with the addition of three new faces: James Brolin, Lizzy Greene, and Eoin Macken. These new additions bring both veteran presence and fresh energy to what’s shaping up to be one of Netflix’s most anticipated new series.

Set against the sweeping landscape of Texas Hill Country, Ransom Canyon is described by Netflix as a “romance-fueled family drama and contemporary western saga.” The story explores the intersecting lives of three ranching families, weaving together themes of love, legacy, and loyalty across generations. With its mix of high-stakes emotion and rugged Americana, the series promises a unique blend of intimacy and epic scale.
